Patients travel across the country to seek Dr. Saigal’s consultation, advice, and to have surgery and other procedures performed by him. Here is our step-by-step guide to set up a long-distance consultation, surgical date, and post-op accommodations and care.

We want your visit and your post-op experience to be seamless – we work closely with you to give you an individualized experience when you visit us, including post-op care. Patients should expect to travel with a companion, stay at one of our recommended accommodations closeby to our office, and stay for 7-10 days in the Orlando area for adequate recovery and post-op care.

Step One

E-mail our office ([email protected]) regarding the procedure you are interested in with photos of the treatment area. Photos should be in focus and include a front view, right view, and left view. You will also need to complete our New Patient Intake Form and email it back to us.

Step Two

Dr. Saigal will evaluate your medical information and photos, and our Surgical Coordinator will contact you to discuss the options. She can usually give you an approximate surgical cost and timing estimate, and discuss financing options.

Step Three

Schedule your consultation with Dr. Saigal. We offer two types of consultations for out-of-town patients: In-Person Consultation: When possible, we love to see our out of town patients in person at the initial consultation. Virtual Consultation: If traveling to Orlando is not feasible, we will be happy to arrange a virtual consultation with Dr. Saigal.

Step Four

Select a surgery date. Once a surgery date has been determined, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date. Payment in full is due two weeks prior to surgery. We also advise that you fly in at least one day prior to the day of surgery to meet with Dr. Saigal, complete all paperwork, and take pre-op photographs.

Step Five

Please be advised that we require surgical patients to have a companion at discharge, as many patients want help the day of surgery. Following surgery, we will want you to recover here in the Orlando area for approximately seven to ten days prior to traveling home, depending on the type and extent of the surgery performed.

Post Op & Travel Arrangements

Our office staff will work with you to schedule your post-op visits, but please make arrangements to stay in the Orlando area for 7-10 days post-surgery. If you need help with an Orlando companion service to help you recover, we can provide some recommendations. This is a third party service that is hired at an additional cost.
